Someone tell a joke, please.
Don Reed: A woman walks into a bank in NYC and asks for a loan officer. She’s going away for two weeks and needs $5,000. “We’ll need some security for the loan.” The woman hands over the keys to a new Mercedes-Benz. The car’s parked in front of the bank and she hands over the title. The officer agrees to accept the car as collateral.
The officers all enjoy a good laugh at the woman’s expense because she used a $110,000 Benz as collateral for a $5,000 loan. They park the Benz in the underground garage. Two weeks later the woman returns, repays the $5,000 with $15.41 interest. “Thank you for your business but we’re puzzled. Why put your Benz up as collateral for a small loan?” Woman says, “Where else in NYC can I park my car for two weeks for $15.41 and know it will be there when I return.”
Can the Red Sox survive? Game 2 starters Nathan Eovaldi and Luis Garcia go in Game 6. Garcia didn’t make it to the second inning. 20 units on the Bosox.
Where were you guys Wednesday night? Chris Taylor hit three homers and the Dodgers survived by beating the Braves 11-2. Down -818 ronceys.
